Illinois, Kansas, and Illinois State have all posted openings for new coaches. Coach Turner at Missouri State has stepped down after a long run. Again, best wishes to Coach Turner and his family.

As far as openings at the D2 level, I'm out of the loop on that.

I only know of one team who is applying for membership at this time. That is Missouri Baptist. They will be applying at the D2 level.

I've proposed the third weekend in September. We're looking at academic calendar's for each of the members to determine any conflicts. An announcement will be forthcoming.

If I remember correctly, Wash U. was coach-less this past season and Drury only had a part time coach.

And when have we decided on the date for the meeting in Sept? Gotta figure out what football game I will be missing...
