Brekan Kohlitz's ability to win faceoffs helped the University of Michigan win a national lacrosse championship last month.
Winning more than 70 percent of his draws as a senior this season also caught the notice of the professional ranks.
Kohlitz became the first player from the Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association - a level of nonvarsity college programs - to be drafted into Major League Lacrosse.
