Danowski has said in many interviews he feels he is greatly indebted to Bryant and will not leave.

Putting Tierney on that list is just ridiculous and embarrassing journalism on par with "credible" celebrity blogs. Its like putting Paterno as a top candidate for an opening. Sure its an opening but are you kidding me. Jiloty should look himself in the mirror. The other problem I have with Jiloty is claiming he's never heard of Brekan. Is it not his job to know about lacrosse? The top fogo in the league just happens to be on the top team in the league. Unacceptable for the editor of the magazine to a) make that error and b) tell the entire lacrosse community he doesn't know who that is. What really upsets me is IL covered the JHU Michigan game.

I think Marr and his fun and gun offense would be the best choice. Top young coach who succeeded with practically nothing at Albany. Breschi is an alum yes but he only won his first playoff game this year and he has been at OSU for ages. As such his success rates reminds me of Haus exactly.

Are you referring to Mike Pressler?

Thanks for the compliment! I'm flattered. I could name a few others from the MCLA that would do great as well! As an example, I've seen what Coach Lamb does to zone defenses like the NYiT zone (see the Az v. BYU game) - I'm sure he would have done a better job than the LeMoyne Coach!!

Well, I know my Dad (who lives in NC) would love that. And it would be interesting to say the least! But I'd miss the great weather here!

Zim signs a six-year extension to stay at UMBC.

Scott Marr...come on down!!

(Although the more I watch Cuse in the tourney, the more I think Lelan Rogers would be a pretty good choice)

Surprise, Breschi's a Tar Heel for sure.

North Carolina's coaching search is over.

Joe Breschi has resigned at Ohio State to take over at his alma mater. Breschi sent an e-mail to Ohio State lacrosse family and friends last night informing them of his decision.

Breschi led Ohio State to an 11-6 record this season and a trip to the NCAA quarterfinals. UNC fired John Haus despite the Tar Heels making their second straight trip to the NCAA tournament this year. UNC earned a No. 4 seed for the NCAA tournament, but was upset in the first round by Navy.

That is surprising considering what he left on the table at Ohio State (extension with an AD option). UNC's counter offer must have been very, very impressive.

Our game is slowly changing. Ever so slightly it is starting to resemble other DI athletics.

Interesting speculation on OSU - they need to make the correcte choice, or that program will take a step back.

There are a lot of very qualified individuals out there. The bottle neck of team growth has stiffled some coaches as well. I wonder if Stan Ross will throw his name in the ring?
