LSA 2008-2009

Alright, I just want to see what everybody's opinions are for next year as far as...... which teams in the LSA are on the rise? and which teams are falling? etc. I see TCU as a team to watch out for next year after losing close games to Baylor, SMU and Texas Tech this past season. Baylor might be on the downfall next year after losing Brochu and Jones, two of the big scorers on the team.

There's a pretty good senior class exiting this year. Should leave open a lot of room in the LSA. This could be UNT's year if the attackman who was injured from last year returns with phillip johnson. I can't really think of anyone good returning on UNT's defense though . . . (I'm storing up so many cookies in anticipation of retribution that I'm gonna have to have a bake sale at summer league)

Also, the Aggies look like they got a great freshman class this year so if they can grow up quick they could be up there again, but they're losing a lot of firepower.

Trevor Hussey will be back to play his last year, so the combination of Hussey (2007 LSA MVP) and Phillip Johnson (2008 Co-Offensive player of the year) will be something to watch for.

I dunno, Texas Tech returns 2 (count them) 3rd team All America selections...how they didn't make the playoffs with 2 AA this year baffles me, but could it really happen 2 (count them) years in a row?
