MCLA Tewaaraton?

I'm sure this has probably been brought up and debated at some point, but has the MCLA ever considered giving an award like the Tewaaraton to the best overall/most valuable player? Thoughts?

The Tewaarton Award is given to the best collegiate player in the country.

Nothing says that can't be a MCLA player. Maybe someday that will happen?
