They do have wins over UCSB, Georgia, and one goal losses to BC & FSU. Add in something to prove after getting bumped early from the SELC tourney and you have a recipe for a good game.

This also Florida's second time playing Chapman this year. Looks like they learned and made some adjustments. Doesn't look like it's going to be enough, though...

BYU 8-7 over BC with just over a minute to go. Man that sounds like an exciting game.

Time Out BC with :18 left.

BYU 8-7 Final.

Did BC get a good shot off after their time out?

Wow! Great to see some competitive first round games for the #2, #3, and #4 teams. Can't wait for the next games.

BC got a shot off at the end. I didn't see how good it was though. There were some oohs & aahs over at that field.

Good thing I didn't see/hear that part, or I might have crashed my car. I will be interested to hear about BC, but they had all the elements that scare me...good faceoff guy, very strong d, hot goalie, balanced scoring. I'm happy to see the Cougs survive.

The most interesting stat...8 goals between the 2 teams in the first quarter, and 7 goals between them in the last 3 quarters.

The ASU-UCSB game was pretty good. Back and forth in the first half with UCSB having a 5-4 lead at the break.

The Gauchos scored first in the third before ASU went on a 6-0 run. They also hit about 4-5 pipes during that run.

UCSB scored two goals in the fourth to get the game closer but ASU held on to win.

This was my first time to see the Westfall's and I was impressed.
