2008 Georgia High School Discussion

I've heard through the grapevine that Saturday's state final is a 7pm start at Lovett's stadium. Finally, they pick a evening start for the biggest game of the year. Should be a good game and an excellent crowd.

Yep. I think this is great as there are numerous youth games and tournament all over the city on Saturday. Hopefully, some of those people involved can make it down to Lovett for the state championship.

Yeah the Roswell tourney is going on during the day. I mean under normal circumstances it's perfect...

...except I have plans that I can't break because I planned on a normal day game.

Lovett should win handily anywho.

Ridiculous finish tonight for the state championship - Lovett wins in double OT (7-6). Mediocre game for the first three quarters before both teams picked up their play. Both teams had multiple looks in OT, some big saves both ways. Lovett scores the game winner about 30 seconds into the 2nd OT.
