TEXAS STADIUM GENERAL INFORMATION

Parking lots open four hours before every game and allow tailgating parties.

To get around traffic exit onto Spur 482, or Storey Lane, from both directions of State Highway 183. In addition, eastbound State Highway 114 traffic can go past the parking lot bottleneck near Loop 12 and use the northbound Spur 482 exit and westbound Highway 114 entrance ramps. That maneuver allows drivers to essentially make a U-turn and come back on Highway 114 to a lesser-used parking lot entrance.

Will teams be able to get some type of exemption pass for their team photographers?

I already asked about this to the Director. Email him off of the MCLAChamptx.com with the photographers name and he will get you a pass for them.

There will be a very limited number of passes for "team photgraphers" in Texas Stadium. Very limited. As in probably two, one for a photographer and one for a videographer. All other photos will need to be taken from the stands or media areas. Also, parents and fans will not be allowed onto the field, either before or after games. Security will be tight this year, so be prepared.

This is a small warning for those parents and fans traveling to Texas Stadium on Friday, especially the 5:00 PM game. Traffic can get a little nasty at times around that area of town (god bless rush hour traffic), so you might want to plan to come a little bit earlier to give you some extra time to get to the stadium comfortably.

That is all.
