What would be more successful is if you email his editor in cheif, or someone in charge of the online rag.
That way, his boss gets wind of what he is doing. If you still have your emails saved, send them off to his editor, or the sponosers you see on the website, that will get em good.

Sticking up for lacrosse
Participants, fans, coaches defend their fast-growing sport to the uninitiated

Torrey Pines (background) and Rancho Bernardo are just two of 27 county high schools to field girls lacrosse teams.
It took a few minutes online for La Costa Canyon High girls lacrosse coach Kristy Gallagher to find the newspaper story her friend in Los Angeles had told her about.
The article, written by Tom Hoffarth, a columnist at the Los Angeles Daily News, had Gallagher seething within seconds.
The subject of the piece was why Los Angeles didn't need a pro lacrosse team. Though written with tongue firmly in cheek, the article threw haymakers at a sport Gallagher has been involved with all her life.
Hoffarth called lacrosse a "snooty, East Coast-rooted prep schoolyard activity." He even took a dig at one of the sport's greatest players, Jim Brown.
The more Gallagher read, the more irate she became.

The whole purpose of satire is that the reader is supposed to understand that it is satire. The fact that he had to explain that point to so many would tend to indicate that the piece was not very well written or people would've understood that. Either way, I still say let Rob have at him with the crooked arrow.

after reading the follow-up i'm pretty sure he wrote this article because of the response he knew he would recieve whether he knows lacrosse or not he knows players. i know its not true because no one i repeat no one can hate lacrosse, my mom hates every sport except lacrosse.

No one liked the editorial, but just cursing at the guy doesn't do a thing. in fact, it is going to hurt your credibilty and justify that we are all just mindless, brutal punks. Come at him with facts and proof that he is way off base, that is the only way to get your point across.

First he'll have to come at us with some facts... then i'll pay attention to it.
I say forget him... lacrosse will continue to grow with or without LA. And I'm willing to bet that once this LA team opens... no matter what he says, or has said, will stop people from going to the games.
