Could it possibly be time to raise the minimum # of teams a conferance must have to get an AQ? Maybe from 6 to 8. I know there will always be "weaker" conferances and these things go in cycles, but odds are the more teams in a conferance, one of them will be a national contender. Does anybody think it's a coincidence that the "weaker conferances" traditionally are also the smallest?

I think SLU should def be in there over Creighton. I believe Southwestern should at least be in the top 15. How a team makes the top 15 and doesn't make their conference playoffs is beyond me. Anyway, playoffs are this weekend, and I believe the results will make the next poll very different.
The RMLC is a very strong conference. What teams from te RMLC are ranked deserve to be there. Creighton? I can't agree more..what are they doing at 20?
Fort Lewis moves down only 1 after losing to a #17 now #14 team? Interesting. That article on Fort in the MCLA mag must pull alot of wieght!

Not a bad idea. I also think the RMLC and some other conferences with multiple contenders should split into 2 conferences! Ponder that!

No guarantee that any new conference will receive an AQ.

Honestly, everyone of the teams in the RMLC that is ranked did not play anyone that is worth mentioning except for UNC and UVSC. UNC played UST and SJU and lost by 7 or more goals to both teams. UVSC played Biola of the WCLL, they are not overly impressive either, and SJU of the UMLL. UVSC only lost to SJU by 4 goals, which is a better showing than UNC. Westminster played two LSA teams, Southwestern and St. Edwards, and they only scraped by Southwestern by 4 goals. Southwestern is not even in the top 15 right now. So, I believe the RMLC is overrated this season. Def. not worh putting 7 of the 13 teams into the top 25.

Andy.... Your team had adequate time to prepare for nationals last year. Stop making excuses. It only makes last year's horrible situation seem worse.

Regarding the above. My point exactly on the Fort. They lose a game they had to have, and drop only 1 spot. Still ahead of Montana State, who loses by 1 goal, at the end, to now D1 and defending D2 champs Montana along with having a great season. The team that beats Fort moves up 2. Not sure I get this.

As for an earlier post regarding teams in the West, and quality of play, the last 3 and only D2 champions have come from the West. Also look at the past D1 champs, csu, byu, csu, byu..............

Help me understand Western Oregon sitting at the #9 spot. Uh what?! I really just don't get this one.

guess it doesn't really matter at this point. Either they win their conference and it doesnt matter or they lose and fall out of the top 12. but i guess for arguments sake...

I agree dude. MSU is such a solid squad. I have never seen a team be more relaxed before a game and just come out and take care of business. They have the ability to be very explosive. I have them beating Fort in the RMLC tourney.
