StrykerFSU is still in the lead heading into the Sweet 16 round. He missed on Wake Forest, but three of his Final four team are still alive (UNC, Illinois, Kentucky).

The loss by Arizona to Illinois today might just be one of the all-time greatest chokes ever. Up 15 points with only four minutes to play, 'Zona blows the entire lead, then THREE shots at the basket to win as time ran out. Then in O.T. they have the ball with 11.8 seconds left, down one, and just let the clock run all the way down to nothing so they can force a well-defended, three-point off-balance heave by a big man at the buzzer. Pitiful performance down the clutch! The "Home" crowd really helped lift the Illini back into this game.

Is it my imagination or is it always the good Big-10 teams that get games a stone's throw away in the tourney despite the NCAA's public insistence that no team is favored in the brackets? Yeah, right! Indiana gets to play in Indianapolis, Michigan in Detroit, Illinois in Chicago, etc. every year. Or so it seems anyway...

Looks like it is basically down to me (J. Carlson) and Duluth Scofferman. I am just happy to beat Brandon and Genck, they think they are special.

Go Louisville, Go Garcia!!! even though i wont win because of it- just like to see them win.
