Awesome game.

Congrats goes to Scott Cater on his 100th win! :D 8)

In other news, Edina over AHA 16-5.

Anyone going to the Minnetonka vs. Blake game tonight?

Nope Champ - We didn't.

Coach CATER won his 100th game last week. Jefferson won the PROGRAM's 100th game v. Burnsville. Coach Cater had 4 other wins from coaching at another program prior to Jefferson.

Copy that, need to work on the reading comprehension a little bit.

Minnetonka over Edina in 1 OT, 10-9

7-2 Edina at half...

That was a tough one to lose.

Well played 3rd quarter by Tonka, 6-0.

Exciting game to watch!

Cancer was detected early when Eastview's Andy Freeman was hurt playing hockey. Andy's first question was if it was life-threatening. Reassured by the answer, Andy had a second question: Can I still play lacrosse?

Great kid, great family and brother of MCLA All-American Mike Freeman (SJU Defender)

It is something to think about for all the guys who read this board.

Cater. Cater, Cater, Cater.

I must have been thinking Carter after the basketball movie about the coach starring Samuel L. Jackson. Great movie, most likely not at all a paralell to Coach CATER, aside from two winning coaches. And my previous post has been edited.

Other news... Breck was crushed by Blake this past saturday, something like 18-4. I heard Dooley played great. I know my brother (who was still injured) is hoping to see Horn's team again in the playoffs. But it definitely sounds like there's no question which team is No. 1 in MN.

So I can't help but to notice that the Private school conference is pretty close in talent levels (disregard Blake). It seems like every game in that conference is a toss up. You have Benilde, Breck, AHA, and TG all pretty close together. Given TG is 0-5, they still seem to put up a good fight every game (they took Breck into 2 OT's). I like AHA and their style of play. They have a couple great mids and and an attack that seems to finish. Breck seems pretty solid this year too, and of course Benilde has something to prove every game being the defending state champs. Seems like any game can swing in either direction. Should be fun to see how the second half of the season comes out. Hopefully the weather decides to stay warm and we can have a great last month of play.

I agree here...

Even though Totino's Record doesnt show it...they are a very sound defensive team, and have a great goal tender...

BSM is tough, and will remain tough....

Breck has recently been decimated by injuries, but should rebound soon

AHA is talented, and when they play as a team, they show how talented they are.

Any intresting games on the tilt tonight??

I know Blake @ AHA at 8 pm.... a late one, I love it (except im going to miss Hells Kitchen!!!!)

horn,

Any word on the Blake Vs. AHA game?

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say Blake took it.

11-6 Blake - 11- 4 with three minutes to go - and Turner had some nice shots to close the gap

We did not come out with any intensity or fire to start the game....
Credit to AHA who showed up ready to go from the first whistle...
Officials did a great job with a two man crew

Turner is a good player, he needs to be AHA's go to guy if they want to make a push at the end of the year. Blake has looked strong in every game I've seen them in.
