Wheaton 14, Cornell 0
Game was delayed for lightning and played with 10 minute running quarters. Thanks so much to Cornell for making the trip.

Based on the weather I saw up north yesterday, are you guys snowed out yet again? This Midwest weather sucks...

Matt already beat me to one game, but...
Dordt- 23
NWC- 0
Dordt- 25
USD- 1
Both games were surprisingly clean with very few penalties. Dordt had around 15 different people score today. NWC's goalie made some good saves as did USD's. Both teams traveled with a short bench and seemed pretty worn down by the end of the game. Thanks to both squads for making the trip and putting up with the wind and cold. These two wins puts Dordt on a 7 game winning streak, hopefully we can keep that momentum going into playoffs.

Rumor has it...
DePaul 10 Overtime
Augustana 9 Overtime
Overtime victory for DePaul. DePaul will most likely be the 6 seed and get a rematch against Wheaton.

anyone know what the seeds look like?
1. Dordt?
2. Harding?
3 Wheaton?
4. SLU?
5. Creighton?
6. Depaul?
looks like some very interesting games next saturday. Hopefully I can make it out to see a few of the games. I doubt anyone is a run away favorite at this point

Ole Miss
The result of Friday night's first round playoff game with Illinois State will be a determining factor in answering that question. Success in 1-AA is the key factor in getting moved up. Thus far, Ole Miss has done everything they need to do to make it happen.
Congratulations to the Rebels on a successful season. I'll be looking forward to your game on Friday.

What ever happened to sportsmanship?
I agree with the sportsmanship, but at the same time isnt every team trying to become ranked and have the most goals for and least amount goals against? So yes running up the score might seem hurtful to the other team, but when people vote on rankings, they see wow this team is a strong performer. And when you have some teams doing it all the time in a conference, and the others not, it looks like the ones that are not running up the score look like worse teams which may not be true.

Me thinks Ole Miss is getting a little to big for their britches. One decent season doesn't make them a top team. Lets not forget the other 3 times they have dropped out of the league after having some "initial" success.
Archaeology is the search for fact... not truth. If it's truth you're looking for, Dr. Tyree's philosophy class is right down the hall.
