Dave was able to set up a high remote camera at Michigan's Oosterbaan Fieldhouse to get the behind the goal shots. We will have several more shots from that angle coming later, including some from the winning goal sequence. He is going to try for an even tighter goal shot today.

(And yes Brent - Dave's pictures have been featured in Lacrosse Magazine before. He has had ton of MDIA & WDIA tournament pictures from St. Louis in the magazine. )

What are you seeing there Dan? From the overhead shot he is clearly NOT touching the crease - goal is GOOD! Game over. Clutch win for the Wolverines over a Ducks squad that put a definite scare in them!

Actually, I should have clarified that I was wondering if Dave Adams himself had been featured for his outstanding work, not just his pictures. I may have overlooked any article in the LM on him.

The overhead shot is dark, laxfan25 -- and the white swooshes on Fox's left shoe appear to form the toe, well away from the crease. But this is deceptive, as the swooshes are mid-shoe, not at the toe which is too dark too see in Adams' photo. But a tiny sliver of the yellow crease appeared obscured to me. Then I looked at Martin Vloet's ground-level photo on the Michigan home site and this confirmed my original hunch. The evidence is inconclusive. Goal counts, Michigan wins of course. But still interesting to break it down when we have such great photgraphs to consider!

Sonny,
It seems like you had a nice trip up to Ann Arbor. Did you enjoy yourself? Did you see any good lacrosse?
How did the games stack up with the ones you've seen in the Atlanta area?

Thanks for the affirmation Matt! I think I also resented Dan's assertion that few refs have the cojones to make the tough calls at crucial times, which I don't think is true. Those calls are certainly not popular, but if they're right I want to make them!
Just like the Kentucky game, the right call was made. Fortunately for the Spartans they were able to hang on!
