Saturdays Big Game between the Cal Bears and Stanford was in the finest tradition of their Big Game rivalry. With only seconds remaining Cal's Gene Pontes tied the game to take it into OT. Cal won in double OT to upset the playoff bound Stanford team.

Good video, but I'm still trying to figure out what a "rort" is...

Aren't the Stanford uniforms illegal? I thought the shoulders had to be the same color. If so, might want to get out the cardinal color magic marker before playoffs.

Ok, so I can't type and can't narrate. I guess I need a staff to do this.

Naaaaaaaaaaah. I was just having a little fun, that's all.
The videos you put up are really terrific, and this one was one of your best. But I too was wondering what happened on that play in the first o.t. -- wide-open Stanford shooter on the crease and a perfect feed to him yet no resultant goal. Did he whiff? Did the keeper make a save? Or was the shot wide? I replayed it twice and can't quite make it out... but it should have ended the game in any case. Tough loss for the Cardinal, nice win for the Golden Bears.

I think that's an NFHS rule, not NCAA. They should be illegal, though. The last time those unis were cool was 2000. Stanford wore the same digs in the 2001 national championship game.
Always on point . . .

Heartbreaker. Just miffed on the pass. I thought it was going to be a goal.
Later in the first overtime, Cal had several close shots.
Small note: right before Cal scored in 2OT there was a flag down on a Stanford Defensman for a backcheck that went awry and hit the Cal attackman on the facemask.
