UCSD 12
A&M 9

1 goal game with 5 minutes to go. Aggie played their best game in some time, very athletic and young. UCSD played well. Couple bad clears led to easy goals at the end for UCSD.

I heard it was a great game and a big improvement for the A&M squad. The midfield really stepped up and took over the game. If they can get the attack on board and take care of clearing the ball, I think A&M has a great opportunity to compete and win the LSA.

As ACE said, the difference in the game was A&M clearing the ball which led to a few easy goals at the end. Playing 4 quarters and still being in this game is a big improvement. I'm not much for moral victories, but for this squad they needed something positive to jump start them and hopefully this was it

Another Game

Postby Gary Robinson on Fri Mar 25, 2005 5:00 pm

One game left off the docket...We play UTD tomorrow at our barn in a reschedule of what was supposed to be our first game of the season. Of course, there are T-Storms in the forecast so we might be rescheduling again.

Just wondering what the weather is like right now in Austin as I know UCSD is playing Texas tonight at 7.

Left at halftime, couldn't stand it anymore. Texas looked terrible.

From WCLL:

UC San Diego 15

Texas 5

It sounds like a final score because Albert Man said about thanking Texas and Texas A&M for being great hosts.

Thanks for the shamless plug Ace, but I guess your right, with only two games in the LSA this week we can squeak in a little baseball talk.

I do know you are one of my lacrosse and baseball loving friends, but I wonder, how many lax players despise baseball as their spring sport nemisis! Brent, I smell new topic!
