Only seen the Cuse a few times this year, but I know a lot of the Orange faithful think Brooks is as deserving as Levielle.

I find it amusing that they put players from Salisbury and LeMoyne on the list, as if they would ever give serious consideration to a DII or DIII player.

Kylor Berkman is ridiculous and would start on any DI team anywhere in the country. He chose to play for his father at Salisbury. Averaged 3.43 ppg last year as a sophomore and 3.25 ppg this year. I've only seen him play a handful of times, but I would guess he'd put up similar numbers at the DI level.

That being said, he's obviously got no shot at winning.

Just for the record, I meant no disrespect to anyone playing DII or DIII lacrosse. I realize that there are many players at these levels that could play or even start at a lot of DI schools. Just the fact that they're not playing against the most elite competition weighs against them enough to ensure that they will not be seriously considered for the Tewaaraton. I can assure you that if Matt Danowski played for LeMoyne or Cortland or Gettysburg (etc, etc) he would not have won it either.

Does anybody know why Quinzani was left off the list? Looking at his stats, it seems like a complete anomaly.

Then again, this isn't the first time Quinzani has been snubbed. During his senior year at Duxbury High School he shattered Casey Powell's high school career scoring record. He was subsequently not named an All-American because of what some area high school coaches called "attitude problems."
I'm having a tough time figuring out which situation is more ridiculous.

I am a Rabil fan, but when the guy starts off shotting something like 10 percent from the field through the first four games, injured or not, that ain't going to cut the mustard.

It's Dano's trophy to use, whether we like or not, he's the committee's poster boy. With that being said, if Duke gets upset in the NCAAs short of the Final then things could get interesting. Let's remember the guy wasn't even 100 percent coming into the season thanks to his foot.

Quinzani was probably left off because he's an underclassman-right or wrong, that's probably was the rationale. Still shocking though.

I want to know what happened to Seibold this year.

Levielle is the dark horse, but he's not going to win it-just not was flashy as some of the others. And Shanahan-what do you know about the award?

I really don't like UVA-but I think it would have been interesting to see a fully healthy Rubeor that whole season.

glad to see Fullerton get a nod-remember him as plebe and thinking he was going to be good when he was spitting time. Not saying that he deserves to get it, but his award is getting on the list. I don't think he cares because at least he beat Navy.

I like O'Hara too-but he is a pole and I am not sure if he's as good as an overall player as Dano.
