first off, if the MCLA's get broadcasted on tv... that will be very exciting for our league. Watching UMD v BYU & BYU v Mich on the BYU channel this year was pretty sweet.

Replying to a earlier post about Nat'ls and graduation, last season I skipped my commencment to go to Nationals as a player with UST. One of the most difficult decisions I have ever made. My family was obviously disapointed, but I felt like there would be no finer finish to my collegiate career than taking a shot at a chip with my squad. Though I fell short, I don't regret it at all. Nationals are the most fun I have had with lacrosse and I look forward trying to get back there as a coach.

The D1 final was on CSTV for several years as part of on overall US Lacrosse contract with their network. The coverage always appeared tape-delayed, and it varied from full game a couple of times to condensed once or twice.

Last year, with the formation of the MCLA, we produced our own television package after negotiations with one network did not result in quite what we were looking for. We learned a lot (mostly that it's worth it to produce your own coverage rather than pay a network to do it), but we did not end up televising anything because of timing issues. We went into this year much better prepared and as I said, we'll be announcing something soon. Sorry to keep everyone hanging, but I don't want to be specific until a contract is signed. Rest assured, it continues to be a priority, and we're excited about the direction we're going.

That said, I remind everyone that this website will have a live webcast of the D1 semis and the D1 and D2 finals. Our TV package will probably not be live. I'm just as excited about what Sonny is putting together for his coverage of this year's event.

Plus Brauck can attest that the training staff is very helpful if you get hurt at the venue and you are not even a player........

I will see you there. It's good to be a student with a flexible advisor! Anyone got some ideas for something nice to bring back from Dallas as a gift? 8)

haven't actually got confirmation that I will be there unfortunately, but we will see. And no I wasn't injured on premises, I was about to get left and had to jump off a deck, but that is neither here nor there. But Cricket and her hot little assistant did take pretty good care of me.
