If anyone reading this has anything needed to be done around the house, please PM Coach Warren. After reading the above it seems as though he may have too much time on his hands. I feel that time can be used more wisely than rehashing Stonehill/BSC games from the past.

I agree with Dan about the contests being well-fought each season, regardless of how either team is doing otherwise. That first matchup in 2002 is in my top 3 favorite games I ever played in. Especially since Stonehill was having a tough year and BSC was coming off a huge upset of powerhouse URI. The games are always very physical.

For the record I think my favorite game would have been the 1 goal loss to Northeastern in '05 when they went on to the national tournament.

Bridgewater is capable of being a real good lacrosse team. They just need a little organization and a good coach that sticks around for a little while. I know the Stonehill players are really looking forward to the game tonight.

Good game played by Stonehill. BSC was in it early, but it slowly got away from them. I would have liked to see them slow it down a little. Stonehill was dominant on face offs too, and that was a big factor.

yes, that 2002 game was a classic....I like the 2004 game (bsc 10-sc8).

well 4 in a row for Stonehill. I do like the new cup, but I miss the old keg. Paul Casey skipped a lot of classes to paint it. One positive for the new cup is that it looks like it can hold about 25 ounces.

I am curious as to why they were missing so many players? They came out and beat Maine just a few days later. What team will we see in the rest of the season for Framingham?

At their game against Bridgewater, they had a total squad size of about 21 or so, and their roster counts a total of 24 (assuming it's up to date?), so unless they've got another starting line-up somewhere......

It's hard to say. Framingham was decent last year, certainly better than described above, AO.

Maine and Bridgewater weren't very good at all. Actually pretty comparable I'd say. Maybe FSC had some players who couldn't make it to the game against BSC.

Yeah, I hear ya, and agree: they were a decent squad last year. As for the present, however, don't know what to say other than it would have taken more than just a few guys to make up the difference in the BSC game. I mean, to paint a picture here BSC was up 11-0 at the end of the 1st quarter and kinda lost their enthusiasm for scoring after about #8 or so ("uhhh... yay; we scored again...hmmm"); FSC had only 2 posessions in the 1st Q; 2 in the second that I saw; and a few scrambles with a loose ball pick-up here and there around midfield that FSC possessed for a few seconds or so, but that was it. I think the BSC goalie saw only 1 real shot that half.

My overall take from watching the game was that only 2 of the FSC starters would be in the starting BSC 10 (the attackman at X and the goalie). Again, no offense to their kids, but the balance of experienced playing talent was dressed in red & black that day.

Jus as a disclaimer my friends, I have no affiliation with either program, don't know anyone who's ever played at either school, etc., just went to the watch as a fan and observer of the game and all since I live in the SE Mass area.

The goalie was pretty solid; beautiful outlet passes and usually right on target to the receiver's stick about 80% of the time. Unfortunately for the Rams they were weak on catching over-the-shoulder passes or, when they did, they really stuggled trying to transition over midfield to deliver the ball to their attack. His stopping ability was tough to measure as that most of BSC's goals were lay-ups or from no more than a yard or two out. But, he hung in there, didn't complain, nobody got on anyone's case about this or that; overall a long day for him in the pipes.
