Falling asleep over there? Don't leave this board alone or it'll surely self-destruct.

Big week for the LSA North ... should be exciting.

Hey now, I know who will take care of me when necessary.

You're right about the big games this week. At least 4-5 games with potential playoff implications. Good luck to all!!!

its been far too long since i got to rag on UNT.

SMU - 13
UNT - 5

I have it on good authority that Denton University's MVP Candidate du jour is going to get shut out.

(apologies in advance for the potential jinxing, coach greene)

TCU vs SMU

Postby TCUCoach on Thu Apr 10, 2008 10:13 pm

Final score from Fort Worth TCU 4 , SMU 5. Hard fought game played for bragging right in the Metroplex. TCU scored the first goal of the game playing under the lights on the varsity soccer field.

Teams would pepper shots at the goal and work extremely hard on settled offense. Both defenses were sliding and playing aggressively and there was a fight for each loose ball.

SMU would go up with about 5 minutes to play and TCU was unable to get an opportunity to get a shot on goal.

Good luck to the Mustangs and North Texas tomorrow!

For those interested in watching SMU vs. UNT tonight but unable to attend . . .

the game will be BROADCASTED LIVE OVER THE INTERNET!

Directions:
-click "live" under sports tab
-scroll to "SMU", then to "Lacrosse-Men"
-highlight tonight's game, then click "go"

You'll need to register for the site, but tonight's game is FREE. Please be aware that this is a test-run and may incur some technical difficulties. If all goes well, this could be a great resource for many teams in the LSA next year.

Best of luck to everyone in a great weekend of lacrosse.

I was able to watch the SMU/UNT internet broadcast last night and was really impressed for the most part. There were minimal interuptions due to connectivity(could've been on my end). I think this is something other LSA teams should look into in the future.
My one suggestion to Coach Greene would be to get a camera angle from somewhere other than the table if possible. Many times coaches/players were in the lens and you can hear a lot of the "colorful" language that occurs on the sidelines.
From what I could tell, this was an exciting game with scoring that seemed to come in flurries.
Good luck to all as we round out LSA play in the coming weeks.

Cheers,
