"FSU beat UCSB. VT is yet to be anyone other than FSU, which they did by 1. I think FSU is the better team because of the UCSB win despite the VT loss. VT just hasn't beaten any to warrant a higher ranking."
Im not saying VT should be ranked higher here, but you do have to give them some credit for beating Georgia (by 3 not huge but not to close and 9-1 VT at half) who beat FSU and BC.
Obviously I have bias here but, VT went from practicing in 30 degree Blacksburg weather to playing in 70-80 degree weather with high humidity after a 13 hour bus ride the night before arriving at the hotel real late at night then a 3 hour bus drive in the morning. First game for VT, 5th for UCF.

have seen them in person and think they are very good....how can you show the rest of the country when you use your spring break trip on in-conference games?

This is college lacrosse. None of these factors matter.

Obviously that is your opinion and my opinion is those factors do matter. My main point though was just that Tech deserves some credit for beating Georgia the way they did. I wasn't taking anything away from UCF, they played great and especially their goalie (26 saves). Just that the circumstances kind of sucked for Tech.
Oh and this is Club Lacrosse, Club being the key word.

all those factors aside from weather are in direct control of VT...even then they coulda picked up a practice or two in FL prior to playing UCF. I agree they have had an impressive run since the UCF game.

If this statement is what you feel....then why do you need credit??

Credit from the person i quoted who said FSU was our only big win. Lol not sure what you mean Zamboni. My point about Club doesn't have to do with my point about our win over GA.

Of course those factors matter. But the thing is, EVERY team faces these things every year. That's why you aren't getting any sympathy. We've all been through it. I know you're just trying to tell us that your team wasn't at its best, but it just comes off as complaining.

Yeah, I agree, it does sound like complaining, not how I meant it. I should have just said "my team wasn't at it's best" and again I'm not taking anything away from UCF.
