Ahhh, MN high school lacrosse...

it's been a while since I've even seen a HS game in MN much less the recent EP team, but my gut and my heart tell me it's their year.

p.s. yes, the 1 vote for eden prairie was mine.
p.p.s. yes, it is completely founded in my affiliation with the team.

Turk, you are out of touch, even I didn't vote for EP, but I didn't vote against them either.

Anyone want to post some of the "big game" dates/times locations?

I'll start

Jefferson v. Eastview April 17, 2008 7pm @Jefferson (not sure if at HS or at Football field - I'll find out.)

The Lake Conference website http://www.lakeconference.org shows all the Bloomington Jefferson home games at Bloomington Stadium.

Interestingly, April 17 looks like a double header in Bloomington with Kennedy hosting Apple Valley at 5:00 and Jefferson vs Eastview at 7:00.

I believe all of Jeffersons games are double headers with Kennedy.
and I think the JV's play a double header at Brookside Park down the road.

I'll take the easy way out and go with one of the first games of the season.

Due to field conditions, this has been moved to Breck (and the later-season game Blake @ Breck has been switched to Breck @ Blake). I think the time was changed to 7:00, but I'd have to look it up to be sure.

Maybe it should just be said that score wasn't kept, since if you keep score the MSHSL treats it as a game and not a scrimmage. :D

I always like the "A score was not kept, but if one was, the imaginary score would have been either 500 to 499 or 3-2"

Blake at Minnetonka, 3:30 p.m. Blake, with two Division I players on its roster, takes on the potent Skippers.

After 1 day of regular season play Laxpower has Edina at #1!!!

This is going to be a fun season... :D

Anyone catch the Blake - Breck game? 5-2 looks like the final there, in favor of Blake.

From the Breck side, I heard it was a tough game for the Breck offense, which took lots of shots but wasn't hitting many of them at all. 4-0 at half, 5-2 final. Jens Lillehi scored both goals for Breck. Steven Briggs was awesome in goal for Breck, making some really nice saves. And I guess Dooley was held to 2 goals, which seems low to me for a D1 guy. Nathan Hunt from Breck played him more than tough all game (but of course I am biased).

Thanks for the update! Wish we could play Breck, but we only get Blake as the last game of the season.
