20-5 Michigan Over LU

Any game report on the LU game? I checked out UMich's website, and as usual it makes them sound like Gods. Id like to hear the GRLC's viewpoint of this game, or should I believe the press release from Michigan?

Iowa beat Augustana 8-7.

That actually bodes well for Augustana IMO. I mean, they are still winless this season, but 3 very closes loses, especially one to a quality Iowa team who as already turned heads this season is good, one would think

Dordt- 8
Creighton- 4

Dordt led the whole game and looked good at all positions. The O clicked really well and converted on fast breaks and man up opportunities. The D slid well and took away a lot of opportunities from Creighton's solid attack and middies. This was a big win for us since Creighton is once again a ranked team and it also helps our playoff outlook.

Kind of a sloppy game, the field was torn up from the first game. We were a bit tired from our first game but still came out hard. UNO's goalie made some good saves.

I had a final score of Dordt 7 Creighton 5 from the Dordt scoring table. The score didn't matter as the game was not ever close. Dordt was up 5 or 6 to 0 at halftime. Dordt simply outplayed us. They wanted the game and we didn't. This was our worst lacrosse in my 6 seasons and that's on me. We would have lost to any team in the GRLC with that effort.

Rockhurst vs. Pitt State

Saturday - I thought we were just sluggish after not playing for a month as game was still close early in the second period, SLU on top 5-3. Then our defense melted down; spent a lot of time watching the play and not covering. SLU seized the opportunities, played very unselfishly, and deserved the victory. Obvious to me the new defense does not match our personnel, may have to go "retro". It will be a long week at practice.

Sunday - Drury has very nice facilities and did a good job of hosting.

Pitt State 1

Missouri State was up 7-0 after the first quarter. Pitt State showed up with 12 players. They played hard despite the lack of numbers. Many different goal scorers for MSU, including goalie Tyler Besaw (who tried his legs out at attack).

PSU showed up for 2 games in a row so maybe they do have their acts together, however, some of the comments, such as several players saying "Come on, this is club lacrosse!" when things like language and mouth guards were being warned didn't seem to shine positive light on them IMHO.

What happened in the Lindenwood @ Michigan State game? I saw a score on the CCLA forum that Lindenwood lost 9-10 in double OT. Any report?
