What do you think about pork barrell spending?

Hey, they're just looking out for their constituents.

This website has a list of all the pork barrell projects added to various bills by Senators and Congresspeople (?) to grab money for projects in their state. Lots of big numbers in this report, and the "Oinker Awards" are eye-opening.

While this report illuminates abuse on both sides of the aisle, I would be remiss without pointing out how much the following grabbed in pork for their states:

H. Clinton - $296.2M
B. Obama - $97.4M
J. McCain - $0.0M

Larry Craig managed to give Idaho one last kiss, so to speak, by hauling in $97.3M.

(Cue post on how much Bush is costing us in the Iraq war)

I just want to know if there will be a wing honoring those of us who survived Woodstock '99 when the museum is built.

I really wish there was a separate forum for politics.

Any chance of that happening, Sonny?
