NU 18
WPI 6

WPI has a very young team, but played hard the entire game. They should continue to get better as they play together more. Next up for NU is UC-Davis, Thurs @ Charlestown HS.

NU 14
Davis 6

NU jumped out to a 7-1 half time lead. Davis never quit, battling hard in the second half, but we were able to match each of their goals with at least one more of ours.

On a side not, both starting goalies got hurt. Ours rolled his ankle at the end of the first quarter. Back up goalie Rob Debevoise did a nice job the final three quarters. Can't remember exactly when Davis' goalie got hurt, but their backup did a nice job as well. He stopped numerous point blank shots. Thanks to the Aggies for coming to Boston.

Didn't stay for the whole game...too windy. Might be back tomorrow for Boston.

It was 10-8 with about 12 or 11 minutes left in the game. Then FSU was able to control the face offs and get some good transition goals. NU had 11:30 minutes in the game which definitely didn't help. The man down unit was able to kill a 3 minute illegal stick penalty though.
