Emory over KSU 15-2.

KSU is scrappy as hell and was very sportsmanlike...they just couldn't get things clicking offensively. Remember, KSU is 2/3 Freshman and very few seniors/juniors. 3 good coaches. Will be a force VERY soon. I expect them to take the 2nd playoff spot in the central.

VTech over USC 14-4. It was a beautiful day otherwise and a great complex to play at. Many thanks to the classy bunch up at Vtech for hosting us.

3/24
Santa Clara 9
Florida 10

I'm sure one of the Gators will give some notes on this one. Cold (you know, Florida-cold), hard fought game... UF was up 3-0 in the 1st but Santa Clara played with great intensity.

Congrats to the Gators and good luck with UCSB

BIG game tonight in the SELC-2 North between Davidson and Charlotte.

Charlotte wins, they still have a shot at the SELC tournament, although they won't be getting the #1 seed again.

Davidson wins, I think Davidson gets in the tourney, Charlotte's hopes of Atlanta and Dallas are shot

11-10 Davidson over Charlotte.

I don't want to write up anything really because it'd end up sounding like I was making excuses for the team.

Davidson wanted it more I guess.

I'm pretty sure that our only shot at Atlanta now is a extreme long shot involving unlikely results in upcoming games and tie breakers I don't know anything about. I'm afraid a few of our seniors played their final game last night. Hope I'm wrong about that.

Questions about Davidson

Postby Catlax on Thu Mar 27, 2008 12:03 pm

Will the Davidson-Elon game be rescheduled?

If Davidson beats ASU, are they in for Atlanta?

Thanks!
