PNCLL Week #8 (3/19-3/25) -- Predict/Report Scores/Discuss
Nice win for WOU vs. Pepperdine. . .hopefully they'll have a nice showing at Claremont today. . .

I can't believe, for the record, that the Wolves had 12 goals yet zero assists yesterday. Has the offense changed with Nyc out of the picture? Just curious.
We just have not posted the assist numbers yet. We have to watch the film and see who had assists. We do not go by what guys think they had. We have someone watch to see exactly who had any. They will be posted asap when we get back from cali.

Good call, I know Mark does this at Southern too. All teams should do this if possible, I know my team claims an assist on every goal so I have to ground them in reality when entering stats.

PS. Good luck against Claremont!! Rooting for you guys!!

I am surprised by that score. Reading the live game report, it seems this was the kind of game where the Ducks could have used Scott Miller.

I wonder if this will mean that SFU will be ranked ahead of Oregon in the poll tomorrow.

SFU beat Sonoma who beat CSU who beat Oregon

even if this happens, Oregon has plenty of games left to change it, specifically the huge game against SFU.

I did up my own poll pending the Poly/Colorado game tonight and just like a true pollster I did one up that I thought was good, it had SFU ahead of Oregon but then I thought about it some more and I settled on having Oregon 1 spot ahead of SFU, 7 and 8 respectively.

There was a lot of games involving the top 12 teams from the past poll in the last 2 weeks with a lot of lower seeds beating higher seeds. That being said I do believe that SFU will slide their way into the top 10 leading to another battle of top 10 teams on Apr 5th.

I would have SFU ahead by one spot, based on the fact they have more wins against ranked teams. Oregon lost to the #2, but this is the #2 that just lost to the #9 that SFU just beat. But you cannot go wrong either way

It is kind of irrelevant anyway, since the teams will have a chance to make their case when they face eachother.

Oregon just LOST to the #2, not won.

It really doesn't matter if SFU or UO are ranked higher than one another at this point. They are both most likely going to be within one or two spots of each other with a huge head to head match up next weekend that will settle who is the better team (at least on that day). As long as they both continue strong and don't have any major slip ups, they will both be in Dallas and will be able to prove where they should be nationally.

A close game between the two will probably ensure that they both go to Dallas. Brauck, you are wise beyond your years... :)

MacDonlad added that the rivalry between the teams has accelerated to the point where he hates Oregon more than perennial rival, University of Colorado

wow, and i thought it was just the pncll teams heads you guys got into, to replace and instate rival as the most hated team says a lot about the impact you guys not only made on them last year but the impact you have made on the entire league, good job!! keep it up.
