Official score was 8-7 for CSU. Press release will be sent out later tonight. CSU wins their fourth RMLC title in five years and sixth in eight years.

If this is supposed to be funny, maybe we could revisit UCSB's missteps in the 2004 season. Or have the courts sealed those records? Please be careful about throwing stones, especially from your particular glass house, CATLAX MAN. There is no need to denigrate a team that did the RIGHT thing last year. I won't comment further, so please keep the flaming to another forum topic.

Touchy, aren't we? The laughing men next to the post indicate a joke in case you didn't notice. A major chill pill wouldn't be a bad idea, Alex. Geesh, no sense of humor. No need to be hyper-sensitive.

they look like grimacing men to me...
Is there a legend or key that tells us that the half smiling face means a joke?

Its too difficult to convey sarcasm in an online forum.

And my post indicates that your "joke" wasn't funny. I would be happy to crack off a "knee-slapper" or two about the 2004 season if you would like. I'm pretty sure that two or three of our seniors who worked their entire career for the chance to play in that tournament wouldn't find it funny either. Nor would all of the parents and players who paid for tickets to Minnesota out of their own pocket and then couldn't go at the last moment. But asking for any sort of consideration or common courtesy with regard to a very damaging and emotional situation is probably a little much . . . Ole, indeed.

I thought he was referring to the spoof story that "some folks" created - talking about the team transferring to Front Range CC...

In short, no. In fact, it is preposterous.

I bet if it was, lets say, umm anyone not in the WCLL it would be possible. :P

CATLAX MAN wrote:This has nothing to do with the WCLL. Why does that always come up? Get over it. There is no way any team from any conference drops from #6 to #12 or #13 on the basis of losing to a team in the Top 10. Sorry, it just won't happen. UCSB will drop, but I expect it to be to around #9 or #10.

Thats why there is the "razz" emoticon next to it.
