Marlo is driven by one thing and one thing only. POWER.

You can know more about him just by knowing this.

I'm starting to crack. I can't even watch someone self destruct like McNulty is doing. Everything he does makes me cringe. He keeps digging the whole deeper and deeper. In the end, everyone is going to feel the effect of this. Carcetti won't be able to run for governor, Daniels will get caught up in it and lose his job, and the blame will continued to be passed down the line. So tough to watch. The only person I'm rooting for in this episode is Omar.

Man, poor Bunk......last night proved that you could "work it right" and he gets hosed by the Homeless Murders.

At least the writers closed the loop on Omar's crazy dive from the last episode. Omar can creep man.

i still call semi-shenanigans....at least they addressed it as almost impossible.

i still wish they woulda shown him jump/fall and land partially on a tree or something somewhat credible...still no reason why chris, snoop, michael could not see him laying there with a busted leg....

I hear ya......Read a couple of the posts above. Doesn't seem like he went all of the way down......or he did, then crawled up a few flights. You could see his shadow a few stories down off to the right when they were looking for him after the shoot out. That gave the impression that he jumped down to another balcony.

I thought last night was a pretty good episode. As an avid fan, it pains me to say this, but this season just isn't as good (so far) as the last 4.

Wallace was the worst, but seeing Butchie get dropped was nearly as hard to watch. I know they were trying to send a message to Omar, but did they really have to brutalize a blind man? They're just some nasty, cold-blooded killers.

Absolutely. I thought last night was one of the best episodes from any season, the writing was amazing. The scenes from the next look really interesting.

You can talk. I saw it and I'm pretty sad. How can they kill off the best character? Only two episodes left.

The biggest is the probably the most dynamic character in TV history going down. Man I hate that little kid

Templeton getting called out by the Iraq vet for doctoring qoutes

Bunk showing that you can get it done with actual police work

Marlo relaxing a little

Freeman and Signoir breaking the code

McNulty's FBI profile was awesome

The mayor selling out to get the governors seat and his wife looking at him with disappointment.

Omar's death was a little anti-climatic. I was looking for a huge gun battle and hoping he got Marlo. Oh well.

There was so much crammed into that little tease after this week's episode. Marlo apparently going crazy and delivering some angry monologue in on video in some interrogation.

Michael pulling a gun on someone in an SUV. I'm assuming it's Chris or Snoop and most likely Chris since he always drives and Michael more or less fed him back the line about being early to a job.

I know I'm leaving something out. I can't wait until Sunday! I'm glad to be rid of my cable company's terrible customer service, but really wish I still had On Demand on my satellite.

Any thoughts on the final episode? This was the final season. Did you get all the answers you wanted? I'm just glad that there was a happy ending and they brought back every character that was still alive.
