I really don't see TO being the TO of even last year this year. TO has had games this season where he only had 3 or 4 catches. Romo has had his bad games this year as well.

Just from what you read from the guy and the sound clips it seems like TO has finally grown up and has become a team player. I say seems, because like Randy Moss and Chad Johnson, TO can blow up at any point, but I have not heard one word from the guy all year long. Everything you here Terrell say is about how the team played, how the team can improve, "we", "us". In many post game interviews he has given a lot of credit to a lot of guys, linemen, Marion "the Barbarian" (A nickname made up by TO), Romo, Witten.

Witten was the primary target at the beginning of the season and caught a lot of balls and made a lot of plays, and TO did not complain once. It really has been since the NE game that TO has really stepped up his game and been the dominant player that he was in Philly and San Fran.

All that said, while TO was incredible Sunday, Moss was even more incredible. 4 touchdowns in the 1st half, simply amazing. It almost looked like it was a Division 1-a football team playing a 1-AA (Except obviously for Michigan - Appalachian State)

I really don't know who beats NE.

TO does seem different than years past, and it is helping him tremendously. However, I still have a weird feeling. You can't feel comfortable that the guy is suddenly a normal person. His actions in the past were just way too crazy. This guy is one of the best WR of all time, but he is a base short of a ballfield.

Yeah, it's called the Cowboys winning.

am i still a bitter eagles fan? yes. yes i am.

yay, we get to play the pats now. hopefully belichek trips on one of his hoodie sleeves, falls on his face, and due to some sort of chain reaction, the eagles win.

But what about Randy Moss. Terry Bradshaw went on a rant about how he didn't believe that TO was a more mature player, teammate and person this year in Dallas as opposed to years passed. You don't hear people doubting the change of heart that has occured in Randy Moss.

TO has a negative History to his name, but I would take his over Randy Moss.

TO while feuding with QBs it was about getting the ball more and winning.
Randy Moss admittedly has taken plays off (and took two years off in Oakland).

Give me the guy that cares so much about winning that he wants the ball over the guy who is going to go 50% on a play if the ball is not coming his way.

I saw TO's bad and was pretty wary of the signing when they brought him in - not totally against because of his talent, but wary. But living in Dallas, I get to see his good everyday. The dude is showing some awesome character. Not just by what he says in the Media, but his teammates in the Locker room say that he is a completely different person this year as opposed to last.

I would just like to put this out there... People can change, as AROD has shown us, People can change, and as a Cowboys fan, I am excited to see that TO has changed for the better. He has been a dominant player in the last 4 weeks.

A quote from Jason Witten TE for the Dallas Cowboys on Terrel Owens in this mornings Star-Telegram

"He is just another one of the guys. He is more open. He wasn't bad last year, but he was guarded. He has let his guard down."

That speaks volumes to me. TO may still love him some him, but he also loves him some teammates.

TO having tantrums is not about winning. it's about him being the center of attention. anyone can put up a show and say all the right things–thanking the o-line, teammates, coach, etc. it doesn't mean that they've changed.

randy moss is no saint either but i'd take him over TO any day of the week. TO is so full of himself it's insane. i'm sure moss is fairly cocky as well, but i don't think i've ever heard moss talk in the third person or seen him lift weights in his driveway.

randy moss certainly had some motivational problems, (taking plays off, walking off the field early) but can't you relate those to wanting to win as well? in oakland, i'm sure that knowing that you can't win no matter what makes it hard to really try. in boston, he can start anew and give it his all.

TO's pouting is about being the most narcissistic player in football. not winning.

TO WAS a jerk in the past, even last season said and did a lot of stupid things, but being a Dallas Cowboys Fan who was not a big fan of the move when they signed him, I think TO is a different Person than he was.

Remember that people can change, people can mature, and even Adults.

buddy just called me and told me that sean taylor got shot in a home invasion at his house in miami.

don't have time to look for a link. but that sucks.

Wow I can't believe how close the Eagles came to beating the Pats last night, I think it was the first time in my life that I have EVER rooted for Philly, I think that what Madden said was right that other teams with better defenses can use the Eagles as a blue print to finally figure out the dominating Patriot offense.

Washington Redskins safety Sean Taylor was shot at his Florida home early Monday morning and hospitalized in critical condition, according to police and a statement released by the team.

Washington Redskins safety Sean Taylor was in critical condition after he was shot at his Florida home Monday, police said.

Miami-Dade County police officers were dispatched to Taylor's home at about 1:45 a.m. and found him shot. He was then airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital, police Detective Alvaro Zabaleta said. He didn't know where on Taylor's body he was shot.

The Miami Herald reported paramedics found Taylor with a gunshot wound to the groin. A family friend who did not want to be identified told ABC-TV 10 in Miami that Taylor was shot twice.

A brief statement from the Redskins said Taylor was undergoing treatment at the Miami hospital and that police were investigating. His family has asked that no information about his condition be released at this point, said hospital spokeswoman Lorraine Nelson.

Taylor has a home in the Miami suburb of Palmetto Bay that he bought for $900,000 two years ago.

Eagles played great. Definitely found some things they could exploit last night, but had to perfect when executing, which they were. However, if you don't think that Bellichick and Co. can adjust to fix their "problems", you are sadly mistaken. Let's not forget that this is one of the greatest coaches of all time, and probably the greatest offense of all time. I don't think anyone will fully figure them out. Pats played their worst game of the year and still won. They won't lose this year...maybe not next year either.

Sure you can gameplan and practice to fix mistakes, but these can only plug holes, it sometimes takes new personnel to completely fix them. Teams can modify the Eagles gameplan and use different looks but still create the same outcome.

Stopping that offense will be tough for any defense, but as long as the opposing offense can put up touchdowns and not field goals, teams should be able to keep it close.


Granted you are right that the Eagles had to execute perfectly, but all they were doing on offense was cutting across the middle with their routes and had plenty of space when they did.

I think it's almost impossible to finish undefeated especially when teams have a playoff spot locked and start resting their stars for the post-season, but then again Bellicheck has kept his starters on the field when they were blowing teams out, so they might be willing to take that risk for the glory...
