Not everyone, but definitely Bonds.
At this point I say just let him take them freely...hell...let him juice on the way to the plate. Since it's ok to freeze investigations and not put pressure due to publicity...I say we see how many Barry can hit.
Eleventy Billion, I say.

I have talked to two ex-NFL players and they both basically told me (they didn't flat out say it), that people would be amazed by the amount of steroids that are used or were used in professional sports.
Not saying it is right or wrong, but most use it for the recovery from injury/daily grind than for beefing up and hitting home runs.

Not that I am advocating the use of steroids or cheating in general, BUT I think I would hard pressed to find many people who competed in sports who didn't try to bend the rules in their favor.
If you are in doubt, ask anyone who takes faceoffs....
I don't see a distinction between steroids and corking a bat, or taking amphetamines, or pine tar on a ball. All are ways for a player to gain an unfair advantage against his opponent. Perhaps from a fan perspective people feel steroids is a "more" unfair advantage than the others? Food for thought, does Gaylord Perry end up where he is without being widely regarded as one of the biggest cheaters in baseball??

Chipper has also made some comments about A-Rod and steroids. I am tired of these accusations made about players. Bonds could very well be indicted and lose his rights to enter the HOF. A sure Hall of Famer removing himself from the HOF for trying to improve his stats. Also most of those who have been suspended for steroids in baseball have been pitchers.
Let's play baseball. Let's play lacrosse. Let's just play a game the way it was meant to be played. If you are so washed up that you need to cheat then maybe you should consider a different career.

Does anyone judge Schwarzenegger for taking steroids when he was a bodybuilder? What about cyclists getting blood transfusions in cycling during the 80's? If no one was testing for it, and there were no "rules" against it, then is it really cheating? If Bonds and the rest of the MLB were taking performance enhancing drugs before anyone was testing for it, is it cheating?
I don't think the MLB or anyone can accuse Bonds of steroid use during the 90's. It's like asking a group of school children not to cheat, and then walking out of the room. And oh yeah, you're paying these children millions of dollars if they score well on the test. Is it the children's fault... or the teacher's? Don't blame Bonds or anyone else, blame the MLB for selling it's soul to the homerun race devil to fill seats and bring fans back to the game after the strike.

Nah Ill blame the person themselves for committing the crime before I ever sue a spoon for Rosie O'Donnell being fat.
It would be irresponsible to blame everyone but the perpetrator. It's called the honor system when teachers walk out of the room. Some people have honor...some people dont.

Yep. If you choose to cheat then you are a cheater. It is not somebody else's fault because you choose to do something you KNEW was wrong. Own your actions and your words.

Quite simply, this attorney's statement is outright wrong. There is no way there is any impact to income by catching the ball. Now, if he were to sell it, that's a different story.

I'm not condoning the use of steroids or any other PEDs, however let's keep in mind that (1) Barry Bonds has never failed any kind of drug test,(2) maintains that he never "knowingly" took any steroids either before it was against baseball's rules or after and (3) in this country, everyone is supposed to be innocent until proven guilty. There is not yet one shred of evidence that proves his "supposed" guilt. There is, however, a lot of media speculation and pundits' innuendo, but that is it.
Now, if you want to discount records and HOF credentials, what do you do about Roger Clemens, Mark McGwire, Sammy Sosa, Brady Anderson, Luis Gonzalez, Davey Johnson, Eric Gagne and any other player that has been whispered about their involvement in steroids, but with exactly the same amount of proof against them as they have against Bonds? How do you treat the players in the 60s & 70s who used bennies & greenies that were dispensed in MLB clubhouses on a regular basis?
Basically, it boils down to media crucifixion. Barry is an acknowledged boor who doesn't gives a rat's ass about the media and treats them with the utmost contempt. This is their way of paying him back. It is a huge load of hypocritical BS. Everyone in the media & MLB management knew that some type of drug use has been going on for the last 40 years, but all of a sudden, they're are all in shock that this has been going on. Please, spare me the tired, feigned outrage.

"Game of Shadows", it's a good read.
While it is "innocent till proven guilty" in America...we are all obviously able to draw up our own conclusion of innocence or guilt.
Isn't it also the law that the court's ruling is just and that we all should just forgive OJ since it was obvious that he didn't kill anyone (according to a jury of our peers)?
(I obviously think Barriod is guilty, and Mr Juice too)
