Danny,
That is a great schedule. If they can go 7-1 or 6-2 with that schedule they are going to put a ton of pressure on the voters. However that means beating Michigan and FSU. If they lose to Michigan they would have to beat FSU twice, that is a tough row to hoe.
If the Tourney started today . . . . .

I think it is going to be difficult for both the RMLC and the WCLL to place 4 teams in the tourney. Right now, the only way that happens is that Utah & UCSD win their respective conference tourneys. Both teams are on the outside looking in at this point based on their ranking. Utah, especially, will have a particularly rough time having to play 3 Top 10 teams in conference games and then having to play at least one more of them again in the conference toruney. They are currenntly ranked at #18 and will have to do some serious climbing to get in. UCSD is a little closer at #14 but still may need an upset, either of their own or an upset loss from a team ranked just slightly above them to get a little higher in the standings. Neither of these 2 scenarios are a lock.

if they go 7-1 on that schedule i'de put them in the top 8. 5-3 i would think would get them in the top 15 assuming respectable losses. They definatley have the opportunity. Hopefully they'll show up.

Which makes this year's Michigan Invitational one of the most important in years. Last year, it was pretty much understood that CSU, UCSB and Michigan were going to make it to the playoffs. This year, Florida, Oregon, and Colorado may need good performances to assure their spots. Will be very interesting in a couple weeks.
Always on point . . .

If the Tourney Started Today
If the new 3/23 poll served to seed for Blaine, here's the field:
#1 Colorado State (At-Large/RMLC) vs #16 AQ LSA (unranked)
#2 UCSB (WCLL AQ) vs #15 Minnesota-Duluth (UMLL AQ)
#3 Sonoma St (At-Large/WCLL) vs #14 Lindenwood (GRLC AQ)
#4 BYU (At-Large/RMLC) vs #13 Florida State (At-Large/SELC)
#5 Michigan (CCLA AQ) vs #12 UCSD (At-Large/WCLL)
#6 Arizona (At-Large/WCLL) vs #11 Oregon (PNCLL AQ)
#7 Colorado (At-Large/RMLC) vs #10 BC (PCLL AQ)
#8 Virginia Tech (SELC AQ) vs #9 Oakland (At-Large/CCLA)
While these numbers and teams will surely change between now and May 2nd, the #1 vs #16 match-up might stay the same. Whover emerges as the LSA champ is likely staring at the #16 seed and the Rams in the first round.

I am just guessing he put down whoever was the highest seed as the AQ winner. Doesn't really matter as if you in the final 16, it's based on your poll finish, not who won the AQ.

You put all at-large bids from the RMLC. CSU should probably be marked as the AQ from the RMLC.

The RMLC has no AQ in 2005 as has been discussed previously -- a conference must have a minimum of six teams to qualify for an AQ, and the RMLC has only five.

How does the tourney continue? Do the higher seeds continually play the lower seeds like in NCAA basketball? Or is it different?
