I'm an RMLC guy but no team with a losing record, and I don't care who the losses were to, should get an at large berth into the tournament. Sorry Utah. Just my 2 cents.
If you ever fall off the Sears Tower, just go real limp, because maybe you'll look like a dummy and people will try to catch you because, hey, free dummy.

on a mission to oust the u.

half thier losses, #1,#2,#3,#4. who's gonna win all those games. no one. especially not a #13 team. drop those games they've got a winning record. only they can't cause three of them are in thier conference. too bad for you utah. maybe they should try applying for another conference. then they would atleast look a lot better right.

i've gotta defend my boys. they deserve it. (other teams deserve it too, i'm sure.)

every thread is reasons why the u shouldn't be in and there are us loyal u fans that have to defend them. compare them with the other bubble teams. it's close.

to punish someone for their sos is opposite of what sos should do. i thought strong sos was a benefit not a detriment.

wow i'm getting flustered.

SERENITY NOW!

either way what ev happens happens.

bubble team playoff............ (jk)

bottom line. a couple spots will need to be filled by questionable teams. teams that are hard to compare. teams that have all shown glimpses of good play and glimpes of head scratchers.

i guess utah's out though. according to all the posters. next year you guys (utah) should just schedule schlub teams so you can atleast have a winning record. get some of the reasons for critiques off your backs.

we all know anything can happen in rivalry games. utah westmini has just begun that rivalry.

that one HUGE loss (Chapman has proven themselves as a good A team) shouldn't take 'em out.

man i'd like to say i'm done talking (writting) 'cause it's stressful, but i'm sure i'll get some comments and have to respond.

good old late april.

every year it's heartburn season.

Why not? Most of the other bubble teams that are under consideration don't have any HUGE losses...so 1 should be enough to keep utah out.

agreed. Also, I feel Utah is being rewarded simply because of the conference they play in.

BYU, CU, and CSU have proven that they can handle their business in and out of conference. Utah has probably benefitted from just playing these top 3 out necessity. Do wins against UMD and a shaky Illinois really justify getting into Nationals when other schools who have really done well in games played and scheduling look on the outside?

Kudos to Utah for playing a tough schedule, but at what exspense did they do that? There is a reason why Notre Dame football schedules a cupcake team here and there. Maybe the Utah scheduler is to blame this year, and next year they will learn from their mistake and not make an impossible schedule. Look at Hofstra this year. They have lost how many one goal games (5 or so) and they dropped out of the top 20. A loss is a loss, allbeit a tough opponent, the scoreboard still is all the same. Sorry Utes.

All of the bubble talk is meaningless until the conference tournaments are done and we know who has the AQs.

It is kind of interesting to see the arguments being thrown out there, though...
