And on topic, we had 2 players on the previous incarnation of Weber state, and one that played for utah. 2 others that tried out for BYU but flaked on the commitment part.

Todd we just bought the stat crew software for the team, so If I had allot of cat 5 cable I could do live internet stats. Unfortunately that probably won't happen until next year.
I am sure you read that the Swami predicts WX over SV by 2, I hope to prove him wrong. If you can't make it to the game, at least wear your jacket tomorrow night.
And just to let you know, Michelle and I are having a boy due in Sept.
good luck.

Congrats on the baby. do the two of you miss me enough to name the baby todd? I would even settle for Stoddard. I get halftime updates of all the games, so if you see the big goofy coach on the phone, it is me on the other end. and as for the swami, this is the first game he has ever picked us to win. he had us losing to northridge last year and east the year before. we won both. so i kind of would prefer him picking you guys. also, for anyone interested in getting into the BYU vs Utah game for half price, go to http://www.uhsll.org and click on the swami picks #6 for details. That swami is really something...i wonder who it could be in real life??

Back on topic, it seems every year, Jordan and Alta send their best to BYU. Olympus used to send alot to Utah state. judge and juan Diego were a pretty good feeder program for the U(but I wonder if westminster will put an end to that). On a side note, Juan Diego is sending their goalie(who was an all america selection as a sophomore) to St Johns of MN, and judge is sending a kid to Bellarmine and another to manhattan (go jaspers!)

MacPherson from JM signed an NLI with Manhattan College yesterday. Don't count on McLellan from JD to SJU, there's others being considered and one Jesuit DIII is really pushing hard. Snyder (Alta/W.T. Woodson), Smith (Alta) and Manning (Waterford) are all Cougars next year.

We are considering all options and welcome any suggestions.
#1Pick would be to name him Coach. (some of my players thought it was funny)
Where did all the logan kids go last season?
So far we have yet to break the USU mold. Multiple players from MC and Logan have gone to USU. With the exception of Mo Poole and Sam Goble (they were pre CV lacrosse) attending BYU, no one from Cache Valley has played outside of USU.
Most of the kids end up going on missions, then do not return to the game. Stuart Hepworth swore to me he will attend the U of U when he returns from his mission. Hopefully Max Allen will break the mold and play somewhere this fall.
