#32 ASU drives & dodges 2, goal Sun Devils.

Miller wins the face on an illegal procedure call against a new face-off man.

Brett Retallick drives, no slide goal Ducks.

They give #42 another shot at the face against Miller.... Miller wins the face, fastbreak!

Homerun check takes it away, ASU fails to clear, Oregon ball, horn...

Bill Tierney is spinning in his NJ office right now given the projected score of this game. It's like a flashback to the Cuse/Va game they always replay on CSTV

11- 9 if i'm not mistaken

Cool, I just wanted to make sure we were talking about the same thing. From just the descriptions, it was difficult to be sure.

So that means Miller is giving the Ducks possession on over 85% of the faceoffs. With that statistic, it's fairly incredible that ASU is right in this thing. If they can find a way to grind out a few more faceoff wins, than they just might pull off the upset.

ASU was off-sides, EMO Ducks, shot by #26 saved, rebound is quick sticked in by #22 Ryan Warren goal Ducks.

Face-off, turtle wins the draw for a fast break but trips getting to the ball. ASU wins the face.

11-8 Ducks I believe. Swanson gets the save 1v1.

Fastbreak Ducks, 3v2... Great defensive play, and ASU pole knocked the skip pass down. ASU clears.

I'm not really sure how we're getting all these 1v1's, I'll ask if there's a speed difference on the next call.

IMHO the game updates may be easier for everyone concerned if the person posting it is doing so from the chat room.

That way our refresh buttons can get some rest.

I think it's 12-9, but who knows. My calculator has heated up and is no longer working.

Beta:

Not all readers can get into the chat room - I've been told some people who access from a networked computer are precluded from access. But I agree it would save the refresh buttons!

Oregon gets another EMO... throws it away... Gillman clear, slash on the Ducks right as the penalty releases.

ASU is in a 2-3-1, wheeling into a 3-3. Swanson gets 2 saves on that possession, Ducks now have possession & have killed the penalty.

Per Stockton, the Ducks are riding so hard that when ASU does clear it, it's usually a long pass into the box with no help for the defense.

Another Gillman clear results in another Ducks slash. Interesting EMO, changing formations constantly, Jason's guessing 5 saves from Swanson in the last 3 minutes. The ASU EMO "looks pretty solid."

As the penalty releases, #44 takes a cross-crease pass from top left #32 (3-3) to bottom right for a goal on the crease.

Jason is going to check on the score, he doesn't know either. I'll write it down infront of me so that I'll be less likely to screw it up again.

#32 ASU unassistsed,

12-11 Ducks lead.

Miller won the last face, had the ball checked out of his stick after the possession call,

Miller just won this face, Ducks possession.

Sonny, if you want me in the chat room, I'll do it, just let me know...

Score is 12-11 Ducks... Still in the 3rd.

The Ducks slashes came as they were trying to check stick on the Gillman clears.

Cody Aldrich Oregon, unassisted, bounce shot.

Miller was called for an illegal touch (pushed onto the ball), face-off won ASU.

Coffman takes an iso from a sprinters stance, misses wide. Lots of talk on the field, "lots of f'bombs." Game is getting "chippy" as Jason wanted to put it nicely.

13-11

There needs to be a statistic for Oregon slashes.

I'm pretty excited Jason hasn't called in nearly 5 minutes... must be the end of the quarter, or the start of ball possession. Who knows....

Up until this point, there hasn't been that many penalties. Of course, your defenders have to be close enough to the offensive man in order to take a penalty......
