Just watched the replay of the game at work.......fun 4th quarter to watch. There were def questionable calls by the refs.

thought it was interesting to hear the announcers say that Marshall Kay was injured for this game and quickly go into something else.

The way they are playing, I don't think anyone wants the UMD matchup.

Very excited for this year's tournament. It is the first time ever that we aren't going into the week with 4 or 5 teams that are head and shoulders above the rest. Things have really evened out, and I wouldn't be surprised to see some real first round upsets.

Well first of all UMD just lost 2 games in a row and everyone is acting like they won 2 games in a row. They are good this year but lets not start crowning teams for putting up good efforts and coming up short. second of all it is only march. i wouldnt get talking about mid may just yet. we have no idea who will be playing well going into that week. Just becasue some teams have a few good games in march doesnt mean they will keep that going all year. I ma not being a hater, im just saying that its only march. some teams have 5 games under their belts while others have 8 or 9.

Good point. Let's just shut the message boards down. Wouldn't want anyone getting ahead of themselves.

They lost two in a row by one goal each to last year's national champion and the team that many predicted to be this year's champion. No one is crowning UMD anything yet, but I wouldn't want that matchup in round one. They have shown themselves to be dangerous, and that is enough to cause an upset. And if anyone knows about having only a couple of games under their belt, it is me. I am one of the PCLL officers! We have teams that have ZERO games played, and we just got a major snowstorm. But when you have the talent, it doesn't matter if you have played one game or twenty. You are a threat and should be treated as one.

Luckily, if things stay the same, the earliest they would play again is the semis.

You argued against your own point. Duluth only had 2 games before they played CSU, which would be hard to do for any team that only had 2 games and no practice time on a full field. At the time CSU had played 7 games, 2 of which were the #1 and #2 teams, and a D3 team (CC is D3 right?). IMO Duluth will only get better.
