Up to date scores from the LSA:
Texas State 12 Southwestern 9
Report: SU was up 5-2 at the half, and the Bobcats had an excellent 3rd quarter. The Buccaneers made their comeback in the 4th but ran out of time when Texas State won the game, 12-9. That was a report from Bill Bowman's assistant/scorekeeper via email.

we simply did not show up to play. sloppy lacrosse on both sides and an absurd amount of penalties on our part hurt us badly. hopefully we can show up tommorrow against lindenwood or we are in some serious trouble.

I agree with you about SU's facilities as I was there last year, and I like that pitch. That grass sure feels good to be walking on.

I have sources that say the games is supposed to take place at Noon, and then there are some that say the game is to be played at 1pm.
I was under the assumption that all Sunday games begin at Noon. Guess I'm gettin there at eleven and hoping for the best....

I'm sure it wasn't their team's decision, but I think its pretty inconsiderate to have us come down here on our own dollar, just to be sent packing cause the university doesn't want one of their many fields to get torn up. (Had a nice stay in Austin, though).
Edit: I'm speaking of the cancellation of the Tech/Texas game today.

Surprise, surprise. Thus continues the growing trend of away games at UT being cancelled.
No disrespect to UT Lacrosse; I'm sure the call regarding the field was beyond their control. Texas schools just need to go ahead and provide their lacrosse teams with indoor fields. Maybe in the next 100 years or so...

Yep, that UT athletic administration has got their priorities all messed up, I can't believe they would yank a Club team off of their fields
Wow, that is certainly the first time a major univerisity has given the shaft to their club lacrosse team.
But, seriously, that is a shame the two teams won't play each other, hopefully they will meet in the playoffs. Shouldn't the game get rescheduled too?
