I didn't catch a score on Albertson vs. WWU or SOU at St. Mary's. . .does anyone have any information on these games?

Albertson 6, Western 16.

Score was about 10-6 middle of the third quarter when Western went on a streak.

Not too sure about the uniform issue with Westminster today (I'm assuming they didn't have jerseys or matching gloves because this was an early game that was added late to their schedule) but it bothers me that officials seem to have a double standard with this rule. Our team got hammered with this two seasons ago in our first game and today it was no call. I don't think that this rule has any effect on the outcome of the game, but it should be enforced.
Other than that, this game was sloppy...the conditions. Both teams did a pretty good job keeping the ball in the air, for the most part. Westminster especially dominated the time of possession. WWU capitalized on some broken clears and fast breaks, but had trouble with the Griffin D-poles extending out to the edges of the box...it was tough to get the offense settled.
Mostly, watching the game just made me want to play...3 more weeks until the Grizzly bears come out of hibernation.

Westminster informed WWU that they did not have their uni's nor did they have matching gloves. WWU said that was ok and played. I think if the other team is ok with it, the team without the proper uni's can play.

I don't think that's a legit rule....getting matching unis and gloves was a big burden for a ton of teams, if Westminster is allowed to continue to play without matching gear, I'm sure there will be at least a few upset squads

Great weekend for SOU, 1-1 vs WCLL A teams. We lost one of our players in the first quarter for x-rays of the davis game that would have drawn the game a bit closer, but still a great effort and a huge win vs Saint Mary's in the rebound game sunday. Such a muddy game, SM will be lucky to grow grass on that field any time this year. Looking forward to represent the PNCLL well in cali the next two weekends. Great job to willamette for the OOC win, the PNCLL looks very strong this year.

Isn't non matching unis just a 30 second technical? Or if it is before the face, just award the ball to the other team?

in our game the refs made us change our shorts in the sub box...no joke, we had kids on the sidelines in their boxers that had to jump into a pair of shorts before they would let them on the field, same with gloves.
This was in addition to the other team totally wanting to waive the penalty before the game...the refs said that a rule is a rule.

Again, I don't think that this rule has any outcome on the game. I was just surprised to see a team that has their own field and locker room and doesn't have uniforms.

SOU had a successful first OOC trip. On Saturday we hung with Davis but couldn't match their numbers. Today we started flat vs. St. Mary's trailing 2-0 early on. We then went on a 7-1 run to lead 7-3 at the half. St. Mary's battled back only to have our freshman goalie make many key saves to preserve our win. Thanks to Davis and St. Mary's for hosting and congratulations to Willamette on their first OOC win ever!!!!

We got our jerseys on Thursday at 4PM, we left for Cali on Friday at 5 AM, close, I was sweating.

Last year our team forgot our jerseys when we traveled to Albertson, we went and bought matching pennies, and still got the jersey penalty. I agree with the penalty, we looked like fools, that's my two cents.

westminster's gear (unis and gloves) are, indeed in the mail. and they're going to look sick. it was such a spur of the moment game the gear didn't need to be ready until this weekend. which it will be. i agree that a double standard is not what games need. but if they made sure it was cool with wwu then there ya go.
