June 2 Oregon State Boys High School Finals...might fit the bill

I think that this is a great idea. Does anyone know who schedules the Oregon State HS Finals event? This might be something that we should pursue.

I've been thinking about trying to put together a "coach's pick" All-Star type team(s) for some summer tournament or game. The basic idea is that instead of the all-league players, it would be an equal number of players (probably 2) from each team that would be picked by the coach.

I think this is an AWESOME idea! I know in 2003 before I showed up here at Willamette a couple of our guys got invited to the PNCLL all-star game in Seahawks Stadium and loved it. But ever since getting an all-league nomination has been as hard as finding a win This would be a great way to recognize the fact that ALL teams have talented and dedicated players who love the game and shouldn't be overlooked just cause they didn't happen into a school that is a "traditional power."
