I thought this was one of the better movies of last year and here is an interesting article about it and something that Scorsese did throught the movie that I didn't notice. Semi-spoilers linked below.

Hands down this was the best picture last year. However, that doesn't always mean that it will get the Oscar.

I believe we're overlooking the number one favorite for the Oscar, the one that I would vote for if I could.

A little indie flick called "Borat"

If I do recall a certain movie by the name of Saving Private Ryan was absolutely screwed over by the academy for a movie that no one even remembers.

You can watch the whole Borat movie on this website. Quality could be better but do you really want to pay to watch it?

BTW Sasha baron cohen already won a golden globe for the movie. His speach was actually pretty good. You can watch that at http://youtube.com/watch?v=i0yAsb6WZgI

And finally:
Borat: What kind of car can I buy that attract woman with shaved vazhïn?
Car Dealership owner: That would be a Corvette. Or a Hummer.

I'm seeing a few copyright issues here... How long do you all think this will last?

(I've spent about an hour or so each night watching back episodes of The Office... I love this site!)

Check out the Chinese original:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0338564/

And look for either the color orange or actual oranges in the Godfather. Same deal.
