Dispatches: Undercover Mosque (video)

Postby Sonny on Wed Jan 17, 2007 12:09 pm

This week, UK Channel 4 has broadcast an enlightening multi-episode documentary with tons of undercover video. The documentary details among other things support for violence at leading mainstream British mosques, support for Sharia law to govern Muslims in the UK ("We must live in a state within a state until we take over"), advocates abuse toward women/children, and general hate/intolerance for all things non-Muslim.

For those of you thinking "right wing conspiracy" - UK Channel 4 is general considered left of the NY Times. Watch these videos and I challenge you to rethink your thoughts about the peaceful little religion of Islam. The amazing part for me is that many of these folks are born and bred in the UK, not immigrants to the UK from other countries. That my friends is very scary, IMHO.

The Muslim religion is a peaceful one just as Christianity is. There are always the psychos that go off and start killing people and somehow link it to their religion. These occurances are a examples of that. It's just not as common in Christianity.

That is where you are wrong, my friend. Muslims (i.e. Arabs) are evil, and Christians (i.e. real Americans) are the purveyors of all that is good and right in the world. These videos from England are perfect examples of ALL muslims and why they are evil. Thank God (the Christian God, not one of the fake ones) that this TV show exposed them for who they really are -- the devil incarnate! I mean, there's no way you would or could find video of Christians advocating violence or hatred. They just don't do things like that.

Those are pretty big mosques, & it's interesting. It's the flipside to the Klansmen (not SFU).... It gives new strength to the democratic peace theory, but wow. It's pretty easy to forget people live this way.

This scares me about as much as some of the evangelical retreat videos that I've seen.
