Arizona is quite an attractive job right now...loads of talent, good draft spots and no Mike Vick.

Arizona has no offensive line. And lot's of salary cap $ tied into skill position players.

Not a recipe for success.....

LSU looked great last night, granted it was against Notre Dame's defense [sic]. Jamarcus Russell has a cannon of an arm. If Florida loses, LSU will definitely move to #2...but if Ohio State loses...will LSU still get that #2? Hmm...

USC #3

Postby Karl Lynch on Thu Jan 04, 2007 3:09 pm

One and two will be the winner and loser of the BCS championship game. Rose bowl victor USC will be #3 in end of the year poll and preseason #1 for 07.

I was rasied Catholic and even I get tired of Notre Dame's defensive highlights consisting of showing Zbikowski's boxing footage and nothing else.

espn.com really lit in to Notre Dame today after this loss.

I will say this... I enjoy lately seeing the quips of writers in the titles of their articles and you can tell that either way, you were going to get the same play on words just in different packaging. Example-

"Sugar Low- Notre Dame bottoms out against LSU"

And if they had won, you know it would have been-

"Sugar High!- Notre Dame triumphs over LSU!"

Definitely. LSU looked scary last night. They literally played pitch and catch. Granted the opposition...regardless with Ohio State losing Troy Smith and Ginn and Florida losing Leak...LSU looks like the heavy preseason #1.

I got tired of Terry Bradshaw...oh, and I got tired of Fox touting ND's football GPA. Show me the classes these guys are taking and maybe I'll be impressed, maybe not. Are they really trying to make the argument that the "scholar-athletes" at ND are any different than those at LSU?

On a side note, how does one get to play Div. 1 football with 20/400 vision? Further, how does one pass high school and survive in college with such poor vision? This is in reference to that wideout on LSU, can't remember the name.

I think they've got this new invention called contact lenses! They're eyeglasses that fit right on your eyeball. Cool!

Ah, I didn't tell the whole story. He had been playing without any corrective lenses at all and only had Lasik this year. Bradshaw The Idiot then related the story of how this player had been dating a girl before the surgery and then broke up with her once he could clearly see her face. I think all of this went down in the 3rd quarter.
