At the beginning of every period, the "FIRE MASON" chant rung out - loudly.

It blows my mind that he makes almost twice as much guaranteed money as Lloyd Carr, and is nearly singlehandedly dropping the UofM athletic department into the red by about 500k a year. Incredible.

Don't know the specifics, but Carr probably makes more $$ through unofficial (non-school) methods then Mason.

I wonder how much we'll pay him for the privledge of being fired? Monson got 1.2 million for quitting on his team, midseason.

Most 1-A football coaches make more then the President of their school. That is pretty normal.
