Areas with major rules changes and their associated sections and pages in the rule book include the following:

Announced changes to crosse dimensions, effective 2009 (Rule 1-17, Appendix IV, page 16 & 108).

Clarified that head coach is designated to communicate with game officials (Rule 2-4, page 25).

Added note to offside rule allowing for substitutions (Rule 4-10, page 43)

Defined procedures to use when officials stop play due to a broken/dislodged piece of the goalkeeper's equipment (Rule 4-18-e, page 50).

Timeouts will be granted to a team in possession of the ball and across the restraining line (Rule 4-27, page 56).

Adjusting crosse strings or head is an automatic one-minute, non-releasable unsportsmanlike conduct penalty (Rule 5-5, page 62).

Reworded the stalling rule slightly for clarity (Rule 6-11, page 78 ).

Approved ruling altered to allow officials to correct timing errors on game clock, if needed (Rule 7-12, page 94).

I don't see this. On p. 95, there's an old A.R., but they didn't include my suggested A.R. about this situation. Maybe they meant to and forgot.

One thing to be very careful of: there are many changes and new A.R.s which are not on a gray background. I'll post a list when I get around to compiling it.

Oh, and for timeouts, they aren't clear about this but they mean across the offensive restraining line.
