Just a question.
But why isn't the Univeristy of Utah invited/going to that best of the west tournament. i thought that they went every year??

one of my players i coached at Northridge has set up a team at dixie state he said, but you guys were talking about them already so I dont know if i need to have the guys he found to merge with another one or not. he has 20 kids though! if you want his information just ask me.

this is all unofficial, but from what i understand, the u of u isn't going because they got screwed. there are two seperate tourneys. originally there was the best of the west tourney which utah was slated to go to, but byu made their own tournament the weekend before best of the west and invited all the big name teams that usually come, leaving the u out.
i'm not sure unlv's best of the west is even happening anymore because of this byu tourney because a lot of the teams have dropped out. in short, this "best of the west" tourney isn't the usual best of the west. its the byu invitational held in a different location and everything. there hasn't been any distinction between the two and that has caused a lot of confusion. it's a shame that utah wasn't invited seeing as they've been at the original vegas tourney for years.

on which date though? byu's tourney is sat 28th of october. unlv's is nov. 3. i know westminster (mase's new team) is going to a best of the west (november version) so i think utah will end up going there. this is just what i understand with talking with kids on the team who have talked to coach rich. hopefully i'm wrong and uncle rich got them in to the tourney in october.

no garrett is at the University of Utah, Conner was the one that set up dixie! Hes email is Lacrosse@rebelmail.dixie.edu . second Just a note jonathan we want to play utah state! weber state has 16 kids commited to us so far this fall, but we have club week in two weeks so we should get more! we have a game set up already with uvsc and dixie. we are also talking to westminster, and Utah. but we want usu too. so let me know what needs to be done!

I noticed BYU added USMAPS to it's NY trip. I've got to hand it to whoever does their scheduling, they certainly do their best to challenge their team.
