Jeremy Schapp did a great feature on the 'Ten Bears' on Sunday's Sportscenter. The feature news story is based on the book, The Ten Bears, about Morgan State lacrosse, an HBCU (Historically Black College or University) in Baltimore.
One of the 'Ten Bears' son's is a stud middie for Hopkins now. Great story. The feature story ended a la the Natural or Field of Dreams, with father and son having a catch (lacrosse style).

Ten Bears
I read the book about three years ago on a flight back from Baltimore. I finished it in one sitting. It's a great book and an interesting story. I'd recommend the book to any lacrosse enthusiast.

I'm glad somebody mentioned the book. I purchased it over a year ago and have read it several times. The author Chip Silverman of the book (and coach of the team) was also in the story on ESPN. The book can be ordered from most lax retailers or even on amazon.com

It's a good story, but I thought the book was poorly written. I wish the author were a better writer, because the story had a lot of potential.

i just saw the very end of it. ill probably purchase the book, though.
i thought Kyle Harrison should have won the Tewaarton Award last year. Powell won it based on the 4 years, not last years performance.
