Surpised nobody has mentioned his death yet. Any thoughts on the impact of his death?
Monica Lewinsky had more president in her than George Bush ever will.

Nick, first of all, I am not connecting to this discussion at hand, but I am wondering if you are running the entire Clemson University system yourself. In your signature, you have "Clemson University President." I know you meant that you are the president of your lacrosse team, right? I just can't help but notice that signature.
Back to the discussion, I am pretty sure he has set up a system to have those take over in the event of his death. Like what Nick said, we would expect that to happen eventually.

Another one takes the giant dirt nap.
When we finally nail Bin Laden between now and the Fall elections, I'm going to count the nano-seconds it takes for the Left to claim that Bush staged the whole thing.

Don't kid yourself, Sonny. Bin Laden won't be caught/killed until right before the 2008 Presidential Election.

Apparently he missed that note at the last underground conservative meeting. I think it was right after the plan on how to tamper the findings of the tests in order to discredit Al Gore and "an inconvenient truth."

I'll change the sig now that I'm graduated.
What I meant is that we should expect a lot of retaliatory attacks from followers by means of IED's. There will also be attacks by possible successors trying to be the "baddest boy on the block" as I saw one article describe it. We just need to face that fact that we just created a very large iconic martyr, particularly with the press that this is generating, and there will certainly be ramifications from it.

I his death will do a thing to help our cause. Insurgents are going to attack civilians and soldiers regardless because of clashing religious beliefs. Iraq is far beyond an organized attack, it's now a free for all in terms of the attackers.

Maybe, but Al Zakhari was another Jeffrey Dahlmer / Ted Bundy / Son of Sam: a Serial Murderer with no conscience, and the world is a better place for his absence in it.Nick wrote:We just need to face that fact that we just created a very large iconic martyr, particularly with the press that this is generating, and there will certainly be ramifications from it.
