So what do you think, I added a feature that returns a report of the percentage of prognosticators who picked each team to win each game. It's rather interesting, in some games the lower seeds have been predicted more . . .
What do you think, should this data continue to be for my eyes only or is there a time that it should be made publicly viewable?
FYI: gambling was a cause for the decline of lacrosse earlier last century and I am sure none of us want that to happen again.
Your thoughts?

The entries are piling up, here are the current numbers:
Div A: 349
Div B: 112
NCAA DI: 39
The games are about to begin. I don't know if I'll be able to flip the switch to lock out entries as the Div A games start at 1pm, but I will be sure to delete any entries timestamped after the cut-off.
Div B entries are open till Wednesday at 1pm CT.
NCAA DI open till Saturday.
I will open up the viewing of other's picks when I get a second later this afternoon, probably as I enter the first scores around 3pm CT.
I don't think I'll lay out all the predictors odds for every game, but here are the percentages for championship picks:
#1 Colorado State 42.2
#16 Texas 0.3
#8 Arizona 0.8
#9 Oregon 2.5
#4 Michigan 11.9
#13 Oakland 0.3
#5 Brigham Young 6.5
#12 Lindenwood 1.7
#2 Sonoma State 13.3
#15 Northeastern 0.3
#7 UC San Diego 3.1
#10 UC Santa Barbara 2.3
#3 Colorado 9.6
#14 MN - Duluth 1.1
#6 Florida State 3.7
#11 Cal Poly SLO 0.0

Yeah, USL moved those games to today and they ended up being forfeits.lax202 wrote:why do the div b brackets have scores recorded, all 0 to 1?

Thanks for doing all this Andy. It looks great!
I'm in an even happier mood since I picked all winners in the first round!! Thanks Waterboy for getting us ready for this with your picks on point. Oh, and BTW, I'm ahead of you at the moment...

Picking Texas to win it all probably was a poor move...

213th place after the first day... i'm in the perfect position to pounce at the leaders! watch out for this cinderella story, coming out of nowhere!

Some have mentioned some miscalculations in the bonus points. At this moment I haven't figured out what's going wrong. If anyone has the time to figure it out, your help would be appreciated.
I believe it might have something to do with CSU's 12 point margin. The way I have it, that is reduced to 11 and those that chose > 10 margin get 5 points. One other possible area for confusion, you only get bonus points if you've chosen the correct winner. I don't know if either of these help explain the variances, but if anyone can figure it out and possibly explain a better formula, more power to you.
Note: I am here as a coach, so if things don't get reported as quickly as they have in the past these next few days, I hope you will understand.
