Separate your anger over her possbly lying from broad swweping generalizations about rape victims

I realize a vast number of rapes go unreported and am not arguing with that fact,and I think that is an awful thing. We do need to do more to encourage reporting. I just cannot believe that once a woman has actually gone through the process of reporting the rape, having kids arrested, and deal with everything else, that she would suddenly drop the case for no reason.

I was watching ESPN at work tonight and when I looked up, I saw them do just a short mention of the USC incident. Shortly after that, they did a much more in-depth story with some neat graphics and everything about the recent updates of the duke lacrosse story.

Apples and oranges. One case seems to involve the majority of a team (not all in the alleged rape, but I get the impression many of them were involved in the stripper show) and one involves an individual.

I would hope that people could see I was being sarcastic! I know their season won't be cancelled! Of course I know it is apples and oranges, but how many times have you seen this story played on ESPN....maybe once? twice? The guy was the number 1 recruit out of high school last year and is at arguably the most prestigious football school in the country.
