for whitman maybe...

Actually, not for Whitman. We had well over forty fans travel to Seattle in 2003 to watch us beat UW under the lights. In fact, we've had fans travel to many games (albeit not always that high in numbers).

Chris and Matt, have a good week of practice this week. Keep any goofballs on the squad in check and focus on the task at hand -- reaching the final four. How you practice will always reflect on how you play, so don't leave anything on Ankeny this week. Be leaders out there.

Play hard for four quarters, keep SOU to single digits, score double digits...(you know the drill).

Hey Tim, Danny and I will both be playing for laxcamps.com. It's the team silcott formed. Normally I'm on the Portland team (exept for this tourney), but Danny didn't want to play on the team this year. What number are you on the Vancouver team.

Here's the teams playing in the Portland tourney:

Laxcamps, Portland, Olympic Club, Vancouver, Seattle, Mohawk Nation, Coopers, Pioneers, Cliff Bar, Bigfoot, Kavu/collar, CR monkey B, Multnomah, Western Or U, Chiefs.

Just a question that maybe someone could answer, but why is Western Oregon in this tourney?

Western Oregon did not make the playoffs for the PNCLL B division. . .so I imagine they entered the PNLA Tourney so they could play a few more games together. . .

had to get this in before the thread was jacked by the pnla discussion.

Bold prediction considering their score when the met the first time. . .

I do imagine this is going to be a much better game. . .with Linfield having a couple scores to settle from last year's semifinals and earlier this season. . .

Linfield seems to be playing pretty well right now, and its not that they haven't faced tough competition... Just had their RMLC trip & included Montana. They didn't win big while they were there, but they were competetive with a the B teams they played. I would be shocked if PLU didn't put in more than 10 goals in... Offense hasn't really been their downfall. They've scored less than 10 3 times, most early in the season. 2 were against top 5 teams, and the other against SOU in early March. PLU put in 17 against Linfield after their loss to SOU, and that PLU team is not this PLU team. It will be interesting to see how they respond to the turf, and to the return of Kennedy. They're peaking at the right time and keeping them to 10 will be no easy task.

So...the Montana vs. Montana State game has been cancelled. They lost the only field that has lights and we can't make it out earlier to play so I guess that's that. Good luck to everybody with playoff games this weekend.

Jason nailed it when he said that we are just itching to have a few more games this spring.... i guess if you get spoiled in your first season and make a long shot play-off appearance then a regular season just isn't enough. We are just going out to have some fun and enjoy ourselves. We did get a couple of guys to come and play with us though so we might sneak by a couple of teams. good luck all on the games this weekend!

If this is your first time playing in the PNLA tournament. . .a little advice. . .beware anyone wearing an MLL helmet. That usually means they're pretty good. . .

I seem to remember reading a post about the CSU/CU game possibly setting RMLC attendance records...any chance of this happening for the PNCLL in the Duck/Beaver game? does anybody even know the PNCLL attendance record?
